The HGB Blog

Back in 1994, James Wiggins and Laura Eagleeye moved to Brazil to help native communities develop sustainable economies and to conserve the natural resources and beauty of the Amazon Basin . Upon their return to the U.S. in 2000, they continued their work to create environmentally sustainable and healthy communities. What they continue to build is a community of people grounded in respect for the environment, human health and well-being, and the conservation of natural resources. You will find that many of the people, groups, and institutions interested in green building have diverse goals, expectations and expertise, but are parts of a growing community that is interested in creating a higher quality of life through responsible consumption.

When you visit our Blog, you will find a community of people sharing concerns, interests, and opinions. Whether you'd like to voice your view about an environmental or health issue or ask about building projects and materials, you will likely find a number of topics that are relevant to your interests. Topics range from building tips to caring for nature and our environment

Please don't hesitate to become part of the HGB community, drop in and join some meaningful, lively discussion. Explore topics you care about, and hear from others who share your passion. A diversity of viewpoints will optimize the success of a building project and provide new ideas and potential solutions.
